Global indices
Major equity benchmarks across the US, Europe and Asia.
How to read it
Each bar is a major equity benchmark's price change over the range, measured from each index's own local closes, so Asian, European and American markets are compared on their own sessions. Changes are in local currency and leave out dividends.
Twelve more benchmarks can be switched on: Nasdaq 100, Russell 2000, CAC 40, IBEX 35, FTSE MIB, SMI, KOSPI, TAIEX, Nifty 50, S&P/ASX 200, Shanghai Composite and IPC Mexico. Pick a date to measure from that close; Rebased draws up to six from 100.
