Options payoff diagram

Pick a strategy and see its profit or loss at expiry, and today, across prices of the underlying.

How it works

Each option is priced with the Black-Scholes model from the spot price, strike, volatility, days to expiry and interest rate you set. The dashed line is the profit or loss per share at expiry: the payoff of every leg less the net premium. The solid line is the profit or loss if the underlying moved to that price today, valued with the same model. Where the dashed line sits above zero the strategy gains (green tint); below, it loses (red tint). Dots mark the break-even prices.

Assumptions

European options on a stock that pays no dividend, one share per leg, no fees or taxes, constant volatility and interest rate. Real premiums differ: market prices carry each strike's own implied volatility. For learning, not for pricing trades.
